Deregulation, dated December 21, 2000

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is issuing this regulatory issue
summary (RIS) to inform addressees of concerns about grid reliability
challenges which industry deregulation might pose and potential voltage
inadequacies of offsite power sources, and of actions the industry has
committed to take to address this issue.
