Information Notice 99-32, "THE EFFECT OF THE YEAR 2000 ISSUE ON MEDICAL
LICENSEES," was issued on December 17, 1999.

This notice was issued to all medical licensees to remind them of
potential problems their computer systems and software may encounter as a
result of the change to the year 2000.  NRC is particularly concerned
about treatment planning systems used for brachytherapy and teletherapy
procedures.
