When the oil level reached 69 percent, with the reactor at approximately 56 percent rated thermal power, per plant procedure, a rapid downpower was initiated which brought the plant to approximately 15 percent power and a manual reactor trip was initiated at that point. The reactor trip was uncomplicated and all plant equipment responded as expected. The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector. | |
