Project Overview
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is currently engaged in pre-application activities with Hadron Energy, Inc. regarding a future Manufacturing License (ML) and Combined Operating License Application (COLA) for the Hadron Micro Modular Reactor (MMR).The Hadron MMR is a standardized, factory-built light-water cooled and moderated microreactor, which produces 10 MWe of electrical power and 35 MWth of thermal power. The reactor core utilizes a standardized lattice and is powered by Low-Enriched Uranium (LEU+) fuel, supporting a 10-year refueling cycle.
