NRC Public Meeting on Draft Standard ANS 3.5.1: Nuclear Power Plant Simulators for Non Operator Training and Engineering Applications

The purpose of this public meeting is to facilitate an informational exchange between the NRC and the ANS Working Group 3.5.1 regarding the preliminary draft of ANS 3.5.1. NRC staff will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide high level feedback focused on identifying issues that may affect future NRC endorsement. This meeting will also allow stakeholders to understand the draft’s intent, scope, and implications for potential future NRC endorsement of the standard.
