Mandatory Hearing for Eden Radioisotopes, LLC, for Construction Permit Application for Eden Isotope Production Complex

The purpose of this meeting is for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to conduct an uncontested (i.e., mandatory) hearing on a construction permit application from Eden Radioisotopes, LLC for construction of Eden Isotope Production Complex (EIPC) near Eunice, Lea County, New Mexico. The uncontested hearing will convene at 5:00 p.m. and begin with an open house followed by a presentation by NRC staff that will explain the review process and provide a brief overview of the application, followed by a presentation by Eden Radioisotopes, LLC that will provide an overview of its project, and finally a comment period of up to 3 hours. During the comment period, the public will be provided an opportunity to speak on the record. Each member of the public will be allowed to speak for no more than five minutes at a time to ensure that all stakeholders who wish to provide oral comments or ask questions will have the opportunity to do so.
