The purpose of this meeting between Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss a pending license amendment request for Cooper Nuclear Station to revise the plant’s Emergency Plan in accordance with the requirements of NUREG-0654/FEMA-REP-1, Revision 2, “Criteria for Preparation and Evaluation of Radiological Emergency Response Plans and Preparedness in Support of Nuclear Power Plants.”

Discussed relation of Cooper's new plan and correlation of the plan to align with the requirements of NUREG-0654/FEMA-REP-1, Revision 2. The Licensee said their new plan will show the direct comparison to this table along with justifications to any deviations from the table laid out in the NUREG.
