Pre-Submittal Meeting with Entergy Operations, Inc. Regarding Potential Use of the Risk Informed Process Evaluations to Modify Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2 Technical Specification 3.5.1 (EPID L-2026-LRM-0100)

The purpose of this public meeting between Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is to discuss Entergy's plans to submit a license amendment request (LAR) to revise the Technical Specifications (TS) for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 2. The proposed LAR uses Risk-Informed Process for Evaluations (RIPE) to modify Action b and Action c of TS 3.5.1, Safety Injection Tanks. Specifically, the proposed changes modify the allowable outage time (AOT) for Action c from 24 hours to 10 days. Additionally, this change deletes Action b of LCO 3.5.1 (i.e., One required safety injection tank inoperable due to inability to verify level or pressure).
