Executive Order 14300 Rulemaking - Licensing Requirements for Microreactors and Other Reactors With Comparable Risk Profiles

Section 5 of EO 14300 directed the NRC to undertake a review and wholesale revision of its regulations and guidance documents, and issue notices of proposed rulemaking effecting this revision within 9 months and issue final rules and guidance to conclude this revision process within 18 months. This meeting is one of several public meetings being conducted by the NRC related to this effort.
