ObservationPurpose
The purpose of this meeting between Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss the licensee's planned license amendment request (LAR) concerning the proposed addition of a temporary note to Technical Specification Limiting Condition for Operation 3.8.3 that would allow the licensee to perform a required cleaning and inspection of the normal diesel generator storage tanks at Cooper Nuclear Station during the 2026 Refueling Outage.
