NRC staff will host an in-person open house meeting to discuss the NRC’s assessment of safety performance at the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant Units 1 and 2 for 2023, as described in the 2023 annual assessment letter. NRC resident inspectors will be available to answer questions about the safety performance of the plant and the NRC's role in ensuring safe plant operations. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
