The purpose of this meeting between Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to provide preliminary information regarding a proposed license amendment request for Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, that would approve alternative security measures for the Early Warning System. The licensee withdrew a previous license amendment request and plans to submit a new request (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML23286A302).
