NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC (NEDA) plans to submit a request for a one-time exemption to the requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Sections IV.F.2.b and IV.F.2.c for the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC). Specifically, NEDA is considering requesting a one-time scheduler exemption to postpone the current scheduled biennial emergency preparedness exercise until 2021. The purpose of this meeting is for NEDA to provide information on a planned exemption request.
