Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) plans to permanently cease power operations at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2 (Diablo Canyon) at the expiration of their operating license on November 2, 2024 (Unit 1), and August 26, 2025 (Unit 2). The purpose of this meeting is to discuss key provisions of the Post-Shutdown Decommissioning Activities Report (PSDAR) for Diablo Canyon, including required contents and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff's review of the PSDAR.
