The purpose of this meeting is to discuss a finding and apparent violation related to a failure to adequately maintain the emergency core cooling system at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant Unit 2. The focus of the Regulatory Conference is to discuss the safety significance of the finding, which is discussed in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Inspection Report 05000275; 05000323/2016010 (ML16277A340). Representatives from the NRC Region IV office will be participating, along with representatives from Pacific Gas and Electric.
