To provide an opportunity for members of the public to submit comments on the draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for Florida Power and Light’s (FPL) Turkey Point, Units 6 and 7, combined licenses application.

The draft EIS (NUREG-2176) is available at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/doc-collections/nuregs/staff/sr2176/, or in the U.S Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) Agencywide Documents Access Management System (Accession Numbers ML15055A103 for Volume 1 and ML15055A109, for Volume 2). Prior to each formal session, there will be an informal one hour “Open House” to provide members of the public with an opportunity to speak informally with the NRC and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) staff.
