Purpose
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is conducting an uncontested hearing public meeting on the NRC staff’s review of the early site permit (ESP) application, from Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC, (Duke Energy) for the Belews Creek Site located in Sauratown Township, Stokes County, and Belews Creek Township, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The purpose of this public meeting is for the NRC staff to provide information to the public on the ESP application review process and it's status, provide guidance on participating in the hearing process, and to answer public questions and collect comments.
