Purpose
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff will discuss activities including licensing reviews, onsite emergency preparedness, environmental reviews, and inspections for the Christopher M. Crane Clean Energy Center (CCEC) potential resumption of power operations. Staff from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will discuss offsite emergency preparedness. The public is encouraged to provide comments and ask questions to the NRC staff about the NRC’s oversight and licensing efforts pertaining to the potential CCEC restart.

This meeting will conducted via Microsoft Teams Webinar, teleconference, and in-person at the address in the notice. The meeting facilitator will alternate between questions from in-person and remote attendees, with priority given to in-person attendees. Due to the expected in-person participation, a ticket system will be used to randomly select members of the public to pose questions and/or comments to the NRC staff. To participate remotely via Microsoft Teams, please register at least 30 minutes before the meeting by clicking on the Teams link provided to obtain the link to join the meeting. You can also join the meeting remotely by telephone using the teleconference number provided. Remote attendees may use the raise hand feature to pose questions and/or comments to the NRC staff.
