Path Forward for the Potential Endorsement of ASME Code Case N-883-2 and Issuance of Associated Interim Staff Guidance

The purpose of this public meeting is for NRC staff to present and discuss the proposed regulatory approach regarding ASME Code Case N 883-2. Staff will outline their plan to issue an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) to solicit public input. The ANPR will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to share feedback on the draft Interim Staff Guidance (ISG), which addresses the acceptance and use of safety-related components fabricated before the designation of an Owner.
