Cheryl Gayheart

Ms. Gayheart has over 30 years experience in the nuclear industry. Starting out her career at Braidwood Station as an engineer and then transitioning to a licensed senior reactor operator working both in the main control room and in staff positions at Braidwood and Bryon Stations as well as in a corporate role at Exelon. Cheryl held positions as Work Management Director, Operations Director, Operations Corporate Functional Area Manager, Plant Manager and Site Vice President. Ms. Gayheart is currently the Fleet Regulatory Affairs Director for Southern Nuclear responsible for compliance support and oversight and all operating fleet licensing actions.
