Quarterly Business Meet & Greet Seminar

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) supports small business-related public policies and is committed to increasing both Federal prime and subcontract opportunities for small businesses, including those small businesses owned by: the Disadvantaged, Women; Veterans; Service-Disabled Veterans; and Historically Underutilized Business Zone concerns.

In Fiscal Year 2009, the NRC procured more than $225 million in products and services. The NRC awarded more than 31 percent of those contract dollars to small businesses; 13.2 percent to Small Disadvantage Businesses; 5 percent to Women-Owned Small Businesses; 3.9 percent to Historically Underutilized Business Zone concerns; 6.4 percent to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses; and 2 percent to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
