Purpose
The purpose of this meeting is to present the published proposed rule related to developing a regulatory framework under 10 CFR Part 30 for fusion machines, as a result of the ADVANCE Act of 2024 signed into law on July 9, 2024 (Public Law No: 118-67). The NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting. This is a similar meeting to the virtual public meeting held March 25, 2026.
