The objective of this two-day workshop is to provide a forum for the NRC and the industry to discuss ongoing efforts to improve PRA Realism. Topics will include presentations on PRA modeling applications, operating experience, external hazards, human reliability analysis, regulatory and oversight applications, realism for advanced reactors and public perspectives.

This workshop is open to the public. This meeting will be hosted as a hybrid meeting with on-site and remote participation. Effective 9/1/25, Federal employees & contractors will be able to use their Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card to access the NRC Headquarters facilities. All other visitors must be pre-registered prior to entering the NRC. Visitors who wish to participate in person must e-mail Michelle.gonzalez@nrc.gov to make arrangements to be admitted to NRC facilities. Non-U.S. citizens must present a valid passport during screening and a copy must be sent to InternationalVisitor.Resource@nrc.gov at least 12 business days before arrival. The deadline for in-person registration is September 16, 2025. Security Officers will not be able to register visitors upon arrival.
