1ATF (Accident Tolerant Fuels): Associated with accident tolerant fuel technologies including doped pellets and coated cladding but does not include items enriched greater than 5 weight percent U-235.

ARF (Advanced Reactor Fuels): Associated with non-light water reactor fuels including TRISO.

IE (Increased Enrichment): Associated with high-assay low-enriched uranium enrichments between 5 and 20 weight percent U-235.

Current new fuels transportation packages are for unirradiated material.
