U.S. Pacific Territories

U.S. Pacific TerritoriesNRC's Regional Office in Arlington (Region IV) is responsible for carrying out the agency's duties in the U.S. Pacific Territories (which may include Guam, American Samoa, etc., as shown in the map to the right). No operating nuclear reactors or fuel cycle facilities are located in these territories, and they are not Agreement States. These territories have jurisdiction over x-ray equipment, naturally occurring radioactive materials, and certain radioactive materials that are not produced in a reactor.
