Introduction
The Office of Advanced Reactors is proud to announce a new practical workshop series, License to Launch, for new and advanced reactor designers and companies navigating the NRC licensing process from design to deployment.
Workshop Series
The first workshop in the monthly series will focus on understanding the NRC licensing frameworks in 10 CFR Parts 50, 52, 53, and proposed 57. Potential topics for future workshops include: leveraging Department of Energy authorizations in NRC licensing; accident analysis approaches; siting and hazards analysis; systematic risk evaluations; early construction and generic licenses; and operator licensing and training.
