AGREEMENT STATE REPORT - FOUND RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL
The following was received from the Arizona Department of Health and Services (the Department) via email:
"On June 11, 2020, the Department received a call from the Mesa Fire Department that they were responding to a residence that possessed a metal ammo can that was believed to contain yellowcake. The Department responded to the residence and surveyed the metal ammo can and obtained a high reading of approximately 8.5 mR/hr on contact. The metal ammo can was transported back to the Department for storage. The Department has no additional information at this time.
"The Department continues to investigate the event."
