OFFSITE NOTIFICATION DUE TO SPURIOUS SIREN ACTUATION
County and state governments were notified due to the spurious actuation of a single emergency notification siren located in New London County in the Town of Lyme. The siren was silenced. If required, alternate notification of the public in the area will be through local Emergency Operations Center route alerting.
The NRC Resident Inspector has been notified.
