The NRC's Regional Office in Atlanta, Georgia, (Region II) is responsible for carrying out the Agency's duties in South Carolina related to operating reactor licensees and fuel facilities. The NRC's Regional Office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, (Region I) oversees South Carolina materials licensees.
