North Carolina is an Agreement State.
The NRC's Regional Office in Atlanta, Georgia, (Region II) is responsible for carrying out the Agency's duties in North Carolina related to operating reactor licensees and fuel facilities. The NRC's Regional Office in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, (Region I) oversees North Carolina materials licensees.
