Missouri: Non-Agreement State Information
Missouri is not an Agreement State. The State has jurisdiction over x-ray equipment, naturally occurring radioactive materials, and certain radioactive materials that are not produced in a reactor.
The NRC's Regional Office in Arlington, Texas, (Region IV) is responsible for carrying out the Agency's duties in Missouri related to the operating reactor licensee. The NRC's Regional Office in Chicago, Illinois, (Region III) oversees Missouri's materials licensees. No fuel cycle facilities are located in Missouri.
