NRC Advisory: NRC to Hold Mandatory Hearing on Proposed Long Mott Generating Station

ROCKVILLE, Md. — The NRC will hold a mandatory hearing Sept. 22 in Port Lavaca, Texas, on Long Mott Energy LLC's application to build an advanced reactor at the Dow Chemical Seadrift site in Calhoun County. Details: nrc.gov

What: NRC staff will present its safety and environmental reviews and take public comments and questions. An open house precedes the hearing. 

When: Tuesday, Sept. 22. Open house 5–5:30 p.m.; hearing 5:30–9 p.m. Central time. 

Where: Bauer Community Center, 2300 Highway 35 Bypass North, Port Lavaca.
