Disability Programs
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) Civil Rights Program (CR) is administered by the Office of Small Business and Civil Rights. The CR program leads the agency's efforts to ensure that no qualified individual with a disability, is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination on the basis disability under any NRC conducted or Federal financially assisted program or activity. The CR program ensures that providers of NRC conducted and Federal financially assisted programs and activities comply with Federal and NRC regulations such as, providing appropriate auxiliary aids and modifications for persons who participate (or are eligible to participate) in their programs and activities.
