TRAINING: |
The following training is required for IP 95001 and IP 95002 in this change notice:
INSPECTORS MUST READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE IMPLEMENTING THESE PROCEDURES
The revisions to these procedures incorporated changes on assessing the extent of condition. Inspection requirements contained in Section 03.02d of both procedures have been clarified and a new term, "extent of cause," has been added. "Extent of cause" more directly addresses what might have been previously called generic implications.'
These changes also provide guidance for determining whether credit should be given as an old design issue under IMC 0305. The new section, 02.04 in IP 95001 and 02.05 in IP 95002, should only be implemented if the licensee is requesting credit under the "old design issue" provisions of IMC 0305.

IP 95002 (Inspection For One Degraded Cornerstone Or Any Three White Inputs In A Strategic Performance Area) clarify guidance on extent of condition review and add guidance for evaluating whether credit should be given for "old design issues."
