Discussion:

On May 17, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) announced several management changes.
Mr. Pete Sena, currently Director of Site Operations, is being promoted to Site Vice President at the Beaver Valley Power Station. Mr. Kevin Ostrowski, currently on special assignment to INPO, will return to FENOC as the Director of Site Operations. Mr. Bill Pearce, Perry Site Vice President, has been named FENOC Vice President- Nuclear and will be stationed at Beaver Valley overseeing a number of special assignments to improve fleet performance. Mr. Ed Hubley will become acting Director of Maintenance, replacing Mr. Tom Cosgrove who is leaving FENOC to pursue other opportunities.

Discussion:

Effective May 18, 2007, L. William Pearce, the Perry Site Vice-President, has been named FENOC Vice-President. His replacement as Site Vice President at Perry is Barry S. Allen, who was the previous Director of Site Operations at Perry.

Also effective May 18, 2007, Kurt L. Krueger, the Director of Fleet Operations at Perry, assumed the role of Director of Site Operations. Mr. Krueger has more than 20 years of nuclear experience including Plant Manager at Browns Ferry Units 2 and 3, Operations Manager at Hope Creek, and Site Outage Manager at both Salem and Hope Creek.
