02/28/2001 The applicant submitted a request to NRC to construct a Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) on the DOE's Savannah River Site.
04/18/2001 NRC published a notice in the Federal Register announcing that the NRC had accepted an application for authority to construct a MFFF.
01/31/2005 NRC issued the Final Environmental Impact Statement (NUREG-1767)
03/30/2005 NRC issued the Construction Authorization
03/31/2005 NRC issued the Final Safety Evaluation Report on the Construction Authorization Request for the Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility at the Savannah River Site, SC (NUREG-1821)
MOX Services submits the License Application and the Integrated Safety Analysis Summary to possess and use radioactive material
12/20/2006 NRC accepts license submittal for docketing
04/12/2007 Public meeting in Aiken, SC to discuss NRC's role, responsibilities, and the licensing process; inspection and enforcement; and public participation related to the review of the License Application for the MFFF
12/20/2010 NRC staff to complete review of the license application and the ISA Summary and prepare Safety Evaluation.
