Region II Agreement State Complex Materials Sites Undergoing Decommissioning

Of the 49 complex materials sites that are currently undergoing decommissioning in the United States, 2 sites in Region II are regulated by the States of Florida and Tennessee, which the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has designated as Agreement States. The map to the right illustrates the relative location of the site, and the table below provides a link to the description, which includes site status summary, any major technical or regulatory issues, and the estimated date for closure of the site. The site description was provided by the Agreement State, and the NRC makes no claim regarding the validity of that information. Please contact us if you have any questions or comments.
