Of the 55 complex materials sites that are currently undergoing decommissioning in the United States, 1 site in Region II is regulated by the State of Florida, which the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has designated as an Agreement State. The map to the right illustrates the relative location of the site, and the table below provides a link to the description, which includes site status summary, any major technical or regulatory issues, and the estimated date for closure of the site.
