Stacey Rosenberg

Stacey is the Branch Chief of the PRA Licensing Branch C in the Division of Risk Assessment in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) at the NRC.  She joined the NRC in 1991 as a Reactor Systems Engineer in NRR’s Probabilistic Risk Assessment Branch where she worked for 6 years primarily on risk assessment of operating events.  She then worked in other NRC offices including the Office of Executive Director for Operations as a Regional Coordinator, and the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response as a Team Leader in Emergency Preparedness.  Before her most recent Branch Chief assignments, she served in NRR’s Division of Engineering as Chief of the Vessels and Internals Integrity Branch, and prior to that assignment she served as the Branch Chief in NRR’s Division of Policy and Rulemaking as the Chief of the Licensing Processes Branch.  From 1999 – 2000, she served as a Legislative Assistant to United States Senator Bob Graham where she worked on clean air, energy and nuclear issues.  Stacey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
