Fadi Diya
Fadi Diya was named the Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, Ameren Missouri, January 16, 2014. In this role, Mr. Diya is responsible for all aspects of nuclear operations for Ameren Missouri.
Mr. Diya joined Ameren Missouri in 2005. Prior to joining Ameren Missouri, he held the position of Manager of Engineering at the Harris Nuclear Plant, Progress Energy. During his career, Mr. Diya held various positions including Vice President of Nuclear Operations, Plant Director, Design Engineering Manager, System Engineering Manager, Programs Engineering Manager, Manager of Engineering, and Manager-in-Training Operations.
Mr. Diya holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Diya has a senior reactor operator certification. He has completed the Advanced Management Program at the University of Chicago, manager training at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and probabilistic risk assessment training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he completed Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) and Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Executive Nuclear Leadership courses.
Mr. Diya and his wife are parents to eight children. They currently reside in Fulton, Missouri.
