Greg Cameron

A nuclear industry influencer, advocate and leader, Greg Cameron is currently the director, of Communications at the Palo Verde Generating Station.  His responsibilities include employee communications, external relations, public outreach and community affairs at the nation’s largest generator of clean, carbon-free electricity.

He most recently served as a senior project manager with the Nuclear Energy Institute, where he was responsible for industry and regulatory engagement on a broad portfolio of licensing, compliance, and operations initiatives.  Concurrently, he served as Washington Representative for the STARS Alliance, advocating for positive policy and regulatory outcomes on behalf of the Callaway, Diablo Canyon, Palo Verde, and Wolf Creek generating stations.

Prior to his service in Washington, Greg was section leader, Regulatory Compliance at Palo Verde.  Previously, he held leadership and professional positions in fire protection engineering at Palo Verde and Prairie Island.

Greg earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona.  He holds a management senior reactor operator certification and is a licensed professional engineer.
