Anthony Tanbakuchi is a lead staff member in the Photometrics group at Sandia National Laboratories. His primary focus is developing and implementing advanced 2D and 3D quantitative imaging methods and algorithms suitable for harsh environments. He also specializes in data fusion techniques where high-speed imaging data, measurements, instrumentation, and models are merged together into interactive data products. He has worked at Sandia Labs for 10 years designing novel precision optical ground and space-based systems as well as advancing measurement capabilities for full-scale harsh environment testing. He has a PhD in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona as well as degrees in Statistics and Imaging & Photographic Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
