Diane D’Arrigo

Diane D'Arrigo is the Radioactive Waste Project Director for Nuclear Information and Resource Service (NIRS) where she has worked for over 30 years for a nuclear-free, carbon-free future. She has a degree in chemistry and environmental studies and work experience in industrial and academic analytical chemistry and biological research as well as community organizing. She has closely followed radioactive waste issues for decades, especially so-called "low-level" nuclear waste,challenging state, national and international moves to deregulate nuclear waste into ordinary trash and commercial recycling.
