Roy Linthicum

Roy Linthicum is currently the Chairman of the Pressurized Water Reactor Owners Group (PWROG) Risk Management Committee. He is employed by Exelon in Corporate Risk Management but is currently funded full time by the PWROG.

He has 36 years of experience in Risk Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance/Control and Radiological Controls. The last 18 years he has increasing responsibility within the Exelon Risk Management Organization. Prior to Exelon he worked at Sargent & Lundy, PSE&G, Arizona Public Service, Northeast Utilities and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory.

Mr. Linthicum has played an active role as a member of the PWROG Risk Management Committee since 2001, and has served as Risk Management Committee Chairman since 2012. During his time as RMSC Chairman he has provide support for the Reactor Oversight Process Task Force, Risk Informed Steering Committee, Risk Informed Technical Specification Task Force and ASME/ANI PRA Standards Committee. He has extensive experience with NRC meetings at all levels including ACRS and Commissioner briefing.

Mr. Linthicum graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering.
