Jeff Chamberlin is the Director for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA’s) Material Management and Minimization (M3) Office of Conversion. In this role, Jeff is responsible for managing and implementing NNSA’s Research Reactor Conversion and Mo-99 programs, both of which have the goal of minimizing the use of highly enriched uranium in civilian applications worldwide. Jeff also currently serves as the Chair of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency’s High Level Group on the Security of Supply of Medical Radioisotopes. Prior to joining NNSA, Jeff served from 2004 to 2007 as the White House Office of Management and Budget’s Program Examiner for U.S. Army Investment programs Jeff holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Boston College and a Master’s degree in international law and security studies from the Tufts University’s Fletcher School.
