United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission - Protecting People and the Environment

W12  Cybersecurity: Communicating Cyber Information and Threats

The process for communicating cybersecurity information and threats to the NRC’s power reactor licensees involves the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, through the Nuclear Sector-Specific Agency, the FBI, and the NRC’s security-related generic communications.  The licensees also have a regulatory requirement to monitor for vulnerabilities in their systems.  All of these efforts combine to inform the licensees about the threat environment.  The session will include government and industry participants who will discuss the cyber-related communication processes.
