Craig Harrington

Dr. Craig D. Harrington is a Principal Technical Leader in EPRI’s Materials Reliability Program responsible for Alloy 600 management activities as well as EPRI’s role in the cooperative xLPR Project with the NRC Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research.

Before joining EPRI in 2006, Dr. Harrington was employed by TXU at the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.  Over the course of his 23 years there, his projects included construction completion design engineering, post-TMI plant modifications, plant licensing support, engineering resolution of critical licensing issues, major component replacements, the GSI-191 sump issue, and responsibility for Alloy 600 Management.  He was also active in industry materials organizations including the PWROG Materials Subcommittee, EPRI Primary Systems Corrosion Research, and EPRI MRP.

Dr. Harrington received a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering, M.Eng in Mechanical Engineering, and Doctor of Engineering all from Texas A&M University.
