Wei-Wu Chao

Dr. Wei-Wu Chao started his six-year assignment in July 2011 as the Deputy Director of Science and Technology Division in Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States. He is also the Washington Representative of Taiwan Atomic Energy Council (or AEC) to facilitate the Taiwan-US civil nuclear cooperation. Before he took current post, he's worked in AEC for 18 years to oversee operational and constructional safety of nuclear power plants. Dr. Chao got his PhD. in nuclear engineering from University of Missouri in 1992, then returned to Taiwan for the government service.
