Duane Hardesty

Duane Hardesty, is a Senior Project Manager in the Research and Test Reactors Licensing Branch in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.  He started with the NRC in 2008 focused on research and test reactor licensing and regulation.  Prior to joining the NRC, Mr. Hardesty worked in private industry as a Systems and Electrical engineer and manager.  Mr. Hardesty is a retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and Reactor Supervisor.  Mr. Hardesty has a BSE in Electrical Engineering, a Masters Certificate in project management and is a certified project management professional (PMP®).
