Sae Yul Lee

Mr. Lee was born in Seoul, 1959.  He studied nuclear engineering at Seoul National University and got bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in 1982 and 1984 respectively.  He started to work for Nuclear Safety Center (NSC) of Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, which became KINS later, on November 1983.

From 1987 to 1992 he studied at Texas A&M University for doctorate in nuclear engineering.  After he got PhD degree he came back to KINS and has been working for various areas including nuclear power plant inspection and safety review, radioactive material regulation and emergency preparedness etc., since 1993.
