Geoffrey Miller

Mr. Miller is serving as Acting Deputy Director for International Programs on a four-month assignment. In this position, Mr. Miller assists in providing recommendations to the Commission and the NRC staff on international issues, coordinating NRC's international activities, and developing and implementing programs to carry out policies in the international arena, including export and import licensing.

Mr. Miller brings to OIP his experience as a Branch Chief in the Division of Reactor Projects in Region IV, where his responsibilities include the oversight of the NRC’s reactor inspection program at Fort Calhoun Station in Nebraska, Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station in Arizona, and Waterford Unit 3 in Louisiana.Mr. Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland.
